Simon Hrycyszyn - Owner and Director

SimonLiving life at full throttle, Simon bought the property in 1975 and opened the dealership in 1978.

A trained motor mechanic, he started the business by himself with a determination and vision that you can see in the Dealership today.

Simon still owns the motor from his first Harley-Davidson Sportster and a 1977 Super Glide which he purchased new.

The love of his life is his 1980 Super Glide Trike, which has a hand built rear end and Springer front end. Simon's next purchase is a 100th Anniversary Springer, fully customised with genuine Harley-Davidson accessories and Australian-made Drag Way Wheels. Simon's next purchase was a 2008 FXSTSSE Screamin Eagle Softail Springer .

Whilst at a Harley Davidson dealership meeting, Simon first saw the Screaming Eagle Softail Springer with a 457.2mm front wheel topped by a Springer front end with a mighty 1803cc twin cam motor .

A dazzling mix of chrome and custom metal grind paint, Screaming Eagle race tuner, big guns exhaust system. One of only a 2,500 limited run, he thought this one-of-a-kind would be a great way to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Richardson's Harley Davidson.

Merilyn Hrycyszyn - Marketing Manager

She has completed over 50 P.A.C.E. courses, been to Harley-Davidson University in Sydney, and attended the Harley-Davidson Worldwide Model Release in America each year for 10 years. Marnie Hocking-Accountant

Photo of MarnieMarnie has been with the RHD team for 18 months after a sea change bought her across from the mainland in Sept 2008.

She bought with her fresh ideas from her 15+ years in finance / administration in the accounting / sports / engineering / manufacturing sectors and her valuable experience have helped the team at RHD improve their internal procedures / processing / analysis and reporting.

Returning to school in her early 20's to complete Yr 12 she went on to do an Advanced Certificate in Accounting. In her mid to late 20's she was mentored by a private practicing accountant and in her mid 30's she part completed a Bachelor of Commerce whilst working full time as an undergraduate for an accounting firm and raising teenage - girls grrr......

The guys are slowly wearing her down about getting her bike license as her limited riding experience is a 50cc which she crashed into a shed on a very large open paddock and then an exciting upgrade to a 250cc on a farm back in her late 20's. But she's still not convinced - her childhood fantasies were about adventures (touring around on the back of a HD of course) not white weddings and picket fences.

Having always had a keen ear (the thunder roars) for what she thinks is the best motor cycle in the world she has enjoyed her time and feels privileged to be a part of one of the most unique dealerships in the world.

For any enquiries please feel free to contact Marnie on admin@rhd.com.au
