Workshop Seminar 2011 June 25th

RHD held its second annual Workshop Seminar on Sat June 25th, we had a great turn out and the team at RHD would like to thank everyone who attended the workshop seminar
We took this opportunity to present our staff with their award recognitions for Harley-Davidson Australia and talked about the training that all staff, especially the workshop staff undertake to ensure that we are taking care of our customers and their motorcycles, through the Harley-Davidson Universities PHD & PACE program.
For a recap of the seminar, we talked through the features of the Harley-Davidson Fit Shop and how versatile H-D is to fit any person to any bike, by changing the seats, bars, lowering the bike and more. We also highlighted the importance of conducting a pre-ride inspection and what self maintenance things customers can easily do to their bikes to keep the in top shape.
We gave a Digitec 2 demo and overview explaining how it helps to find problems with your motorcycle quicker, and also the benefits of Super Tuners and Dyno Tuning. We also talked about how to correctly store your bike in winter, cleaning products and how to clean your bike properly. Other demonstrations included the new HD paint repair kit, and the explanations of failed parts.
To finish off we went over things that you shouldn’t do to your bike like, wash your bike with truck wash, this is because it strips off protective layers that keep your motorcycle safe from the elements and can also streak your aluminium, and cause corrosion.
